Job Description

A reputable automobile company is seeking to employ, qualified, self-motivated and hardworking professional to fill a vacancy position:

PURPOSE: To achieve the sales objectives of the department.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Promote and sell products to achieve sales target set.
  • Handle all matters relating to tenders.
  • Scan the business environment and come out with sales strategies.
  • Build long and lasting relationships with customers and other stakeholders
  • Identify sales opportunities, prospect and make follow ups to close deals
  • Issue Pro-forma invoice based on approved prices signed by the manager.    
  • Assist in any promotional activities of vehicles.
  • Monitor and provide bi-monthly competitive information on vehicles.

Required Skills or Experience

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, mechanical engineering or any other related discipline from any accredited institution
  • The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years’ relevant working experience in sales management, preferably mechanical equipment.
  • He must be conversant with the application software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the use of the Internet.

 KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
    

  • Be technically inclined with expertise in the sales of commercial vehicles or machineries, 
  • Be able to interact with variety of individuals up to top-level management.
  • Have an in depth knowledge of tendering and lobbying 
  • Be a person of high integrity and honesty.  
  • Have good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Hold a valid driving license
