Job Description

1. PURPOSE (the major objective of the position)
   • Be responsible for assembling recorded raw material into a finished product that's suitable for broadcasting.
2. DUTIES (the specific task expected of the job holder)
   • Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
   • Take  briefs to grasp production team’s needs and specifications
   • Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity
   • Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
   • Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process
   • Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.
   • Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
   • Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of video's
   • Creatively translate briefs into stunning visual designs
   • Maintain an eye for detail and uphold the Insel standard of work

Required Skills or Experience

Education

• First Degree in Communication Designs or in a related field 

Experience

• Hands on experience in advance Video Editing 

Requirement

• Hands on experience in the following;

                  a. Adobe Premier pro

                  b. Adobe After Effect

                  c. Adobe Audition

                  d. Adobe Illustrations

                  e. Adobe Photoshop

                  f. 3D Animation
