Job Description

A reputable company in Accra is looking for a dynamic, hardworking and results oriented individual to lead its Marketing Department.

Objectives/core purpose of the job
Supports the Company in the efficient management of Marketing functions of the company.

Responsibilities and Duties

Marketing

  • Develop and support the implementation of annual marketing strategies and plans
  • Define and follow up on yearly targets and objectives
  • Undertake periodic market research and analysis
  • Develop and support the implementation of strategies for new services and products.
  • Determine new opportunities by analyzing business needs in the market.
  • Monitor and support marketing activities
  • Develop the organization’s brand strategy
  • Evolve brand strategies to sustain the organization’s brand identity   
  • Implement advertising campaigns and evaluate overall performance of the brand
  • Lead, mobilize, motivate and monitor activities of campaign teams to deliver
  • Create high levels of creativity within the Brands and Advertising department

Advertising

  • Liaise with clients to identify their advertising requirements
  • Develop advertising concepts and campaigns that meets the client's needs
  • Provide briefs to assist with the formulation of marketing strategies
  • Writing client reports
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of campaigns
  • Making pitches for new business.

Administrative Duties:

  • Develop creative ideas and concepts
  • Liaise with clients and interpret their briefs
  • Undertake any other assignment that may be assigned from time to time
  • Prepare and Submit weekly and monthly reports

Required Skills or Experience

  • First degree/ HND in Marketing
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in  Marketing, Brand building and Advertising
  • Membership of a Professional Communications body (CIMA is an advantage)
  • At least 3-5 years working experience
  • Report writing, Facilitation, Presentation skills critical
  • Proposal Writing and Strategy Development
  • Proven capabilities and experience in marketing research and emerging trends
