Job Description

A reputable Microfinance company in Accra and Tema is looking for dynamic, hardworking and results oriented individuals to be a part of its Field Cashiers. 

Purpose of the role
To deliver superior customer service in a timely courteous manner.

Key Areas and Tasks

• Must have an in depth knowledge of the Company’s products and services
• Maintain professional relationship with all customers
• Collection of savings and loan repayment from clients
• Facilitating savings withdrawals for their respective clients in order to meet the turnaround time
• Assist customers with the filling of the loan and account opening forms
• Follow up on the long overdue debts and recover their balances
• Serve as a backup for other operational activities and also double up as recovery officers for the credit officer at the branch
• Must be abreast with all default issues at the branch
• Liaise with credit officers to form a recovery team at the branch level

Required Skills or Experience

Education and Related Experience

• Diploma in Business studies (DBS) / Senior High School Certificate (S.S.C.E)
• Experience in motor riding will be an added advantage

Knowledge, skills and attributes

• Sound knowledge of laid-down policies and procedures relating to customer service. 
• Sound knowledge of company’s products/services and the procedures underpinning them. 
• Knowledge of the Code of Company Practice. 
• Knowledge of the new Delivery System as it relates to enquiries. 
• Knowledge of Managing Local Market sales principles. 
• Basic knowledge of the functions of the various departments within the branch.
