Job Description

A reputable ICT company is looking to employ a Marketing Manager as its Chief Marketing Executive

OBJECTIVE OF JOB
The Chief Marketing Executive will be responsible for planning, developing, reporting on and supporting the execution of local marketing plans that are focused on creating opportunities and lead generation within key target markets. The Chief Marketing Executive is required to ensure the management and co-ordination of communications and marketing for solutions and services and take accountability for the development of marketing campaigns, sales content and pipeline development activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the creation and co-ordination of programs that contribute to partners committing investments for incremental marketing activities or resources in the appropriate areas
  • Conduct business intelligence on a client base to understand buying behaviours and the solutions sets suitable for the particular market focus
  • Use the available communication vehicles and marketing activities to coach marketing and sales team on how to prepare for campaigns
  • Develop a corporate understanding of brand’s business risks, competitive landscape, and industry-wide (or niche) opportunities
  • Serve as brand ambassador ensuring company delivers on its brand promise and drive continued brand awareness via marketing and public relations campaigns
  • Build a positive social image via public relations campaigns, targeted advertising, social networking / online community engagement
  • Provide vision and leadership for all marketing led initiatives.
  • Drive the vision for key functional areas like marketing, sales enablement, brand, customer satisfaction and retention. 
  • Understand target market and enhance the company’s brand by reinforcing the value proposition via all available marketing channels.
  • Set the road map and objectives for marketing to achieve aggressive business and financial growth and retention goals. 
  • Provide strategic direction for the marketing and sales functions, with specific focus on planning, developing sustainable/scalable marketing programmes, budgeting and forecasting. 

REMUNERATION: VERY ATTRACTIVE

Required Skills or Experience

  • At least five years of experience in a senior leadership role developing and deploying effective B2B marketing programs that generate qualified leads; with a thorough knowledge of marketing principles, sales and business development
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferably in an ISP/ICT environment
  • Must possess a strong track record of developing successful, innovative and cost effective marketing campaigns 
  • Must possess tremendous communication and leadership skills, with proven success in traditional and innovative campaigns across the broad spectrum of today’s marketing channels.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Marketing or a related field. Master’s Degree in marketing will be an added advantage.
  • Member of a professional institution and chartered certifications preferable
  • 6+ years working experience
  • Minimum 4+ years in a senior leadership role A ground-breaking leader with strategic, creative and financial acumen as well as a strong business intellect
