Job Description

Location: Accra

Our client, an Agility (Agile) services, technology and events company is currently seeking to hire a highly efficient Sales & Marketing Coordinator to help in their operations in Ghana.

 ROLE PROFILE

Successful candidate will be responsible for providing first-class service in order to push the sales of products, events and services. Act as an intermediary between colleagues at work, the general market place, other service providers and clients in both private and public sectors.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engages in superior customer service by making information readily available for all products, events and services.
  • Persists in sales even in the face of failure
  • Demonstrates products and services to clients (both at management and executive levels)
  • Schedules appointments and meetings as necessary and follows up
  • Answers questions from clients, 3rd party Associates, partners or service providers such as e.g. graphics companies, media houses, ticket buyers, subscribers to Sokopay mobile money platform, clients who want to partner, sponsors, exhibitors etc
  • Makes product knowledge readily available to self, team members and other sales people through various resources
  • Finds ways to sell products, events, services in the face of a down market
  • Researches client base to find new types of customers and sell to them accordingly with clear revenue targets
  • Creates a plan for gaining customers and then retaining them based on clear performance objectives for revenue
  • Analyzes and creates a plan for engaging the target market
  • Analyzes the competition to create a plan for engagement and acquisition of new customers and maintaining existing customers
  • Makes product appeal to the target market
  • Trains other team members and marketing people in the art of selling
  • Makes sure that all sales people meet quota during a given period
  • Sets up booths at trade shows and demonstrates the quality or uses of all products, events and services
  • Demonstrates superior time management skills and meets sales deadlines (revenue targets as clearly stated in the Business plans for products (tech) team, events team and services (consulting/training) team

Required Skills or Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or a Related Field

 WORK EXPERIENCE

3-5 years working experience in a similar field.
