Job Description

1. Monitor IT systems for possible mismanagement, fraud, and inefficiency.
2. Ensure that IT audit practices comply with company procedures and government regulations.
3. Promote efficient practices by recommending improvements in processing capability, user interface, and security designs.
4. Evaluate technology, identify controls, and keep records.
5. Conduct investigations 
6. Produce reports for the audit committee.
7. Create written process documentation if none exists and will make recommendations for tightening controls and improving efficiency.
8. ​Develop and maintaining the division’s COOP (Continuity of Operations plan)
9. Meet with various stakeholders to review the mission-essential functions and priorities of the division.
10. ​Responds to certain requests for financial data from internal and external customers, analyze and reconcile specific account balances, and provides data extracts, queries and reports.
11. keep pace with and respond to regulatory developments in the financial services sector,

Required Skills or Experience

• Dergre in a business, accounting, or an IT-related field. Relevant Certifications eg. (CISA),  2-5years of auditing-related practice
• Solid understanding of the FinTech sector ecosystem; FinTech relevant regulatory developments in the UK, Europe and internationally; and of the regulatory rule-making process and political landscape.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills as well as the ability to process large amounts of information and summarise it effectively.
