Job Description

An established Restaurant requires the services of a Waiter to join their ever growing team. The role primarily will be responsible for serving customers and clients in an appropriate manner bearing in mind the menu offered by the restaurant.

• Establish a cordial relationship with customers and fellow colleagues’ whiles ensuring quality standard of hygiene personally and in working space area. Assist customers with sitting arrangements as well as informing them of daily specials being offered by the restaurant.
• You will be required to liaise with kitchen staff to ensure food orders are prepared within the time frame given to the customers. Ensure table setting is maintained by cleaning up after a customer’s meal is completed and replacing cutleries and table napkins for other customers.
• Must endeavor to check billing procedure is thorough, correct, signed for and receipts issued before or after completion of each meal.

Required Skills or Experience

• Interested candidate must have related qualification with at least two (2) years’ experience as a Waiter.
• Have the ability to delegate multiple tasks.
• Knowledgeable and have experience in the catering industry.
• Good communication skills both in writing and orally with a friendly approach.
• Possess excellent customer service and numeracy skills.
• Must be honest and have a sense of urgency.
• Individual must be flexible, willing to work weekends and ideal for candidates living in Tema, Ashaiman, Spintex and its environs.
