Summary / Description

• We are seeking motivated, career and customer oriented Web Designer/Graphic Designer interested in joining our team in the Accra area and exploring an exciting and challenging career with Bemitech Ghana Ltd.
• In this role you will deliver world class solutions to Bemitech customer. You will use your experience to deliver web solutions using the latest technologies for small and large enterprise customers. 

Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities

• Designs and builds web sites using a variety of graphics software applications, techniques, and open source cms tools.
• Designs and develops user interface features, site animation, and special effects elements.
• Designs the website to support the organization’s strategies and goals relative to external communications.
• Designs, develops, troubleshoots, debugs, and implements software code (such as HTML, XML, and JavaScript) for components of the website.
• Be a graphic designer and develop the site concept, interface design, and architecture of the website.
• Responsible for interface implementation. Requires strong navigation and site design instincts.
• Provides technical advice and consultation on simple and complex web applications.
• Organizes and directs the execution of web projects.

Required Skills or Experience

• Ghanaian Citizenship 
• HND or Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• Relevant certifications a plus
• Must have demonstrated capability for oral and written communications
• Ability to work under consultative direction toward predetermined short term or long-range goals and objectives.
• Expert level knowledge and experience with web site design
• Expert level knowledge and experience with some or all of the following programming languages: C, C++, C#, Java, ASP, ASP.NET, Visual Basic, VB.NET, HTML, XML, JavaScript, CSS, ADO, ADO.NET, SQL TSQL, PL/SQL and Visual Studio.
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of Linux and terminal is an advantage
