Total Family Health Organisation (TFHO) is an indigenous Ghanaian social marketing organization duly registered in accordance with the laws of Ghana on February 1, 2017. We work to improve the health of people living in Ghana primarily through implementation of innovative evidence-based interventions that increases access to and utilization of health products and services in a measurable and impactful way. Our key intervention areas include Family Planning and Reproductive Health, Maternal, New-born, and Child Health (RMNCH), communicable and noncommunicable diseases, Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), nutrition, and malaria. We utilize our deep insight and skills in Social and Behaviour Change Communication (SBCC) and social marketing to promote positive social and behavior change among individuals and communities.

Job Description

Total Family Health Organisation (TFHO) is a Ghanaian registered non-profit social marketing organization, dedicated to improving the health of people with a focus on Family Planning, Water Sanitation and Hygiene, as well as Maternal and Child Health. TFHO is an independent network member of Population Services International which is headquartered in Washington DC, USA and due to the nature of our operations, we seek to recruit Volunteers/Sales Promoters to sell and educate people on TFHO brands accross the country.

The volunteers/Sales Promoters are expected to support THFO Marketing team generate demand and increase awareness during Marketing/SBCC activations to promote TFHO brands. This will be done by selling and providing education on the brands and effective referrals for service uptake.

KEY TASK

  • Undertake community activities such as home visits, market storms and one on one counseling/education as per agreed schedule of events.
  • Ensure effective awareness creation of TFHO commodities in and around communities as per agreed schedule of events.
  • Ensure effective demand generation for TFHO Family Planning, WASH and MCH commodities in communities where they have been assigned.
  • Refer clients to agreed service delivery outlets for uptake of service.
  • Support in community entry, organization and facilitation of community events/activities
  • Collect data on activations as per required by RM&E department
  • Attend training and review meetings with Community Activations and SBCC Officer and Zonal Sales Coordinator

Required Skills or Experience

  • Experience in working with brands and market/Sales activations.
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English and local language.
  • Ability to describe TFHO commodities and explain use, operation, and care of brands to customers.
  • Ability to use smart phone to collect data.
  • Must exhibit a sales drive.
  • Interest and passion in NGO work.
  • Must be between 18-35 years.
