Job Description

The Finance Officer will be responsible for providing support to the Finance Manager to ensure timely and accurate completion of all finance & accounting tasks.

Other Job Functions include:

• Account Payable Management
• Preparation of bank reconcilation statements
• Remittances to tax authorities
• Assist in audit activities
• Assist with completing of month-end journals
• Assist in cash requisitions, advances, retirements
• Prepare and review expense, invoices and other accounting documents
• Other duties as assigned

Required Skills or Experience

• Must have a degree in B. Com., Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field
• Partly qualified - ICA, ACCA, etc.
• Have a minimum of 2 -3 years of experience in handling accounting functions
• CANDIDATE MUST BE RESIDENT IN GHANA

Skills

• Must understand tax laws
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Knowledge of financial and accounting software applications (Microsoft Dynamics 365 will be an added advantage
