IPA designs, rigorously evaluate and refines these solutions and their applications together with decision-makers to ensure that the evidence created is used to improve opportunities for the world’s poor. Job Description Field Supervisor, Marketing, Tractor Coordination and Technology Adoption Project (TRACTa)
The project aims to better understand constraints faced by smallholder farmers in Northern Ghana that may hinder greater productivity, profitability and improved welfare. The study will examine barriers such as: thin output markets, accessibility of tractor services, and lack of information on best farming practices. The study will be carried out in 200 communities, reaching over 4,000 project participants including maize and soya farmers. The geographic focus will be in the Northern Region of Ghana, across 6 districts, including: Yendi, Gusheigu, Karaga, Mion, Savelugu and Saboba. TRACTa is looking to recruit Field Supervisors on a short-term contract of 3 – 4 weeks to carry out the baseline survey.
