Job Description

NB: Only candidates with good Christian commitment and passion for rural development may apply. 
Specific Location:  SUHUM (Must be residence of job location)

To support the Client Service Manager to ensure that financial documentation of the Branch Office is properly and accurately maintained within the framework of VisionFund Ghana’s financial policies, procedures and controls for timely generation of regular Branch reports

  • ensure that all financial transactions comply with VisionFund Ghana’s financial controls, policies and procedures.
  • keep proper books of account including Assets register and stock records at the Branch
  • accurately record, analyse and allocate all Branch financial transactions.
  • ensure the timely preparation of accurate monthly bank reconciliation statements for all banks where the Branch maintains accounts.
  • support the Client Service Manager to prepare annual budgets for the Branch.
  • assist the Client Service Manager to prepare and submit Branch monthly/quarterly/annual funding forecasts, cash flows and funding requests to the Finance Manager in VisionFund Ghana Service Centre.
  • prepare monthly/quarterly/annual Income Statements for the Client Service Manager’s approval.
  • prepare monthly variance report.
  • be actively involved in all spiritual activities of the Institution.
  • perform any other official duties that will be assigned to you by your Supervisor or his/her designee.

Required Skills or Experience

Degree (Accounting option preferable/Banking and Finance), ICA / ACCA part II or other equivalent qualifications with 3 years work experience. 


  • Must have good leadership skills, be dynamic and innovative;
  • Demonstrate a good team spirit
  • Should have a good track record of integrity and conduct
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Experience of good public relations skills
  • Ability to relate well with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Must demonstrate skills of one who is dynamic, innovative, pro-active and self-motivated

AGE LIMIT FOR THE POSITION: Not more than 35 years and physically fit for field work.
NB: The job position requires that the successful candidate will live and work in SUHUM.
