Job Description

Our client is a trust fund committed to poverty alleviation, solving of social problems and economically empowering rural communities through promotion of community-based development projects. It is seeking to outsource its administrative services to a competent firm with strong accountability, control measures and a track record of monitoring and evaluating community projects.

THE SUCCESSFUL FIRM would be responsible for:

  • Executing all policies, specific or general, and carrying out instructions received from the Trustees and managing the website of the Trust; 
  • Advertising in the appropriate dailies, soliciting and screening applications for grants for community-based projects and providing technical support for improving applications;
  • Taking minutes at monthly meetings with the Board of Trustees. Conducting on-site and off-site due diligence on project proposals. Preparing summaries of applications and generating due diligence reports;
  • Implementing, monitoring, and evaluating all projects funded by the Trust. Preparing funding documents to be signed by the Trustees. Processing funds approved to the beneficiaries; 
  • Providing monthly reports of CRG monies collected by the Trust. 
  • Liaising with Trustees to publish the annual report of the Trust and assisting in external audits of the Trust.

Required Skills or Experience

THE SUCCESSFUL FIRM must have: 

  • Vast experience in project management, providing services to different industries, finance, human capital development, social development, community development, marketing and investment management; 
  • At least one lead officer should have a post graduate degree in relevant academic discipline, with about 10-15 years’ experience in project management, finance, community development or related field;
  • Experience carrying out due diligence, writing press releases and developing annual reports;
  • Basic office logistics assigned for the project: internet connectivity, records and filling system, laptops, phone, etc.

IN ADDITION, THE FIRM SHOULD HAVE AN OFFICE IN ACCRA AND BE EASILY ACCESSIBLE
