Job Description

Job Overview

  • Stay current with industry trends and monitors strengths and weakness of competition
  • Executes business plans designed  to maximize facility customer satisfaction, profitability, and market share
  • Review business related data such as market share, financial performance, inventory, employee engagement, and customer satisfaction
  • Develop effective pricing strategies, balancing seasonality, economy, customer segments, property objectives and customer satisfaction
  • Interacts with guests and other customers on a frequent basis to obtain feedback about their experiences at the property
  • Hire, train, and supervise employees in all departments
  • Create staff schedule to ensure appropriate staffing
  • Track stock levels at the kitchen and bar, supplies, and equipment, forecast needs, and oversee ordering as necessary
  • Take ownership of budgets and cost control methods to minimize expenses
  • Address customer needs, comments, and complaints
  • Adhere to and enforce employee compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Process payroll and maintain all relevant records
  • Ensure all employees are working within outlined operating standards
  • Report on financial performance, inventory, and personnel

Required Skills or Experience

  • HND
  • Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager or similar role
  • Working knowledge of general restaurant and bar operations, including personnel management, purchasing, sanitation and health codes, and security
  • Proven customer service experience as a manager
  • Acute financial management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent leaderships skills
  • Very Excellent in computer especially Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to manage operating costs in accordance with budgets
  • Comfortable setting priorities and delegating tasks as needed
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented
