Underground Mining Alliance Ltd. (“UMA”) is a Joint Venture between African Underground Mining Services Limited (AUMS) and Rocksure International carrying out underground development and production works for the AngloGold Ashanti (Obuasi) Mine. 

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver concrete from batch plant (Surface) to underground;  
• Manage concrete slump tolerance levels and the discharge of concrete;
• Complete basic documentation associated with the collection and delivery of concrete;
• Maintain good interpersonal relationship with working staff;
• Maintain the vehicle in a clean and tidy condition;
• Undertake general yard duties and plant housekeeping;

Required Skills or Experience

• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience driving Agi preferably in an underground mining environment or
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in heavy duty truck operation in a mining, relevant concrete industry or a similar environment. 
• Must possess a valid Ghanaian driving and operating licenses (C & E Classes) and can drive underground.
• Mincom certification is an added advantage
