Job Description

Our client, world-leading Internet company is looking to hire a competent and proactive Operations Manager to help with their operations in Ghana

ROLE PROFILE:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operations team within the Organization. He/She will be responsible for keeping the businesses running and operating in an efficient manner, giving the business agility and addressing operational needs quickly.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set up the process and regulations for content monitoring and reviewing on the platform.
  • Guide the team to adhere to the processes and regulations as well.
  • Lead the team to accomplish the content output on social media platforms and ensure the product's influence on social platforms.
  • Collaborate with headquarters product team and operations team to optimize product design.
  • Related support to localization of marketing.
  • Regularly organize the team to do investigations and make user requirements and market research as the output in order to provide suggestions for the platform development and products optimization.
  • Take responsibilities for the main KPIs in the responsible market.
  • Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way and Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices

Required Skills or Experience

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in Business, Operations Management or related field
  • Work experience in a news app will be a plus in terms of similar role
  • Proven work experience as Operations Manager or similar role
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role​

REQUIREMENT

  • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.
  • Experience in budgeting and forecasting
  • Familiarity with business and financial principles
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Leadership ability
  • Proactive nature
  • Outstanding organizational skills
