OPPORTUNITY

• Being a Sales Engineer presents the unique opportunity to combine technical expertise with people skills and business knowledge to help customers find the most cost-effective solutions to their technical needs.

• Prospect for new business and manage key accounts within the Mining Industry by continuous and progressive engagement with key contacts within the companies. 
• Conduct site assessment and together with the customer develop smart solutions to reduce their operational expense, acquire more scientific data for sound decision making and operate safely to protect our environment. 
• Undertake all sales activities from lead generation through to closing the opportunity, plus effective follow ups on existing opportunities
• Coordinate activities between Management, technical service & the customer to achieve maximum client satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with the company’s vision & values

Required Skills or Experience

• First degree in an Engineering field of study, Mining, Mathematics, Physics or related
• Minimum of 2 years working or providing services within the mining environment and sound understanding of the complete mining cycle
• Experience in sales or marketing activities
• A valid driver’s license

• Knowledge & Experience in using any CRM tool
• Excellent interpersonal and communication Skills
• Must be a team player
• Proficient use of Microsoft office tools (excel, power point, word etc)
• Must be a self-starter 
• Must be assertive and eloquent 
• Have a good sense of urgency
• Hands on attitude & a hunter’s mentality
• Be willing and able to drive long distances to customer sites
