Job Description

Zonda Tec Ghana Limited, the leader in the Heavy and Light duty automobile industry seeks to employ the services of an HR officer.

The successful candidate

  • shall be responsible for the health and safety of employees, recruitment of quality labour,
  • handle the documentation process for expatriates,
  • liaise with company lawyers on legal matters,
  • coordinate training and employee engagement activities and work on performance management processes.

The role reports to the HR manager.

Role / Responsibilities

  • Oversee the health and safety of all employees
  • Provide counselling on policies and procedures
  • Recruitment and Selection of quality labour force
  • Training and development 
  • Ensure meticulous implementation of payroll and benefits administration
  • Communicate with staff about issues affecting their performance
  • Ensure accurate and proper record-keeping of employee information 
  • Handle internal and external communication management systems; prepared reports, presentations and ensured timely dissemination of information to various departments and all staff members
  • Liaise with company lawyers on all legal issues
  • Record, monitor and maintain attendance to ensure employee punctuality
  • Regularly engage staff
  • Conduct orientation for new hires
  • Work on securing visas, residence and work permits for all expatriate staff
  • Handle the administration of all company contracts; keeping records of all executed documents and correspondence
  • Act as a point of contact for all employees, handle their concerns, providing administrative support, and report to management where necessary

Required Skills or Experience

  • Minimum of 1st Degree in Human Resource Management or related programs from a recognized university
  • minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar role.
