Job Description

QPGH is looking for a detailed oriented and highly skilled Distribution Coordinator with exceptional high work standards in the area of Inventory and distribution management. The successful candidate will be in charge of ensuring a GDP and implementing the various QPGH Distribution standards. A candidate who has a fair knowledge in outbound logistics in terms of ensuring prompt delivery to customers both locally and internationally is highly preferred for this role. 

This position reports to the Supply Chain Manager.

Position Description
We are looking for highly organized, very analytical and meticulous candidates with good customer service abilities to manage deliveries to customers.  

Distribution Coordinator`s specific tasks will include; 

  • Serving as QPHG main point of contact for our commercial team by supporting them to resolve all customer issues. 
  • Coordinate order fulfillment cycle by collaborating with the sales and warehouse team as well as transporters for deliveries to customers.
  • Managing Customer Relationship on an operational basis, understanding customer requirements and challenges and effectively meeting these requirements towards their satisfaction. 
  • Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution. 
  • Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive 
  • Communication with external and internal customers. 
  • Interface with other supply chain departments-Procurement & Distribution to ensure all orders are fully serviced within agreed timelines. 
  • Responsible for efficient and effective coordination of Delivery operations in QPGH ensuring that deliveries are completed consistently, OTIFIC and that they meet quality standards. 
  • Ensure delivery lead time is met and provide prompt feedback to supervisor for support where needed.
  • Provide update on deliveries made on daily basis and follow up on signed copies of DN for further internal processes.
  • Provide daily and weekly report on fulfillment rates, sales fill rate and case fill rate.
  • In charge of tracking dispatched trucks till customer confirm receipt and provides feedback and same supervisor.  
  • In charge of coordinating pick up of QPGH products or items from communicated location to required destination 
  • In charge of growing QPGH’s third party logistics base by ensuring new and reliable transporters is added on to existing ones.
  • Ensure Health safety and Environment best practices through the performance of his or her functions.

Key KPIs

  • Based on data of customers’ orders received WOW basis, CSR will ensure delivery of below KPI’s and report on same 
  • OTIF of total deliveries 
  • Value of orders received & fulfilled 
  • Case fill rate (CFR)
  • Volume fill rate (VFR)
  • Sales fill rate (SFR)

Required Skills or Experience

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Fluent English with excellent writing, analytical and organizational skills. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.  
  • Strong interpersonal skills to network with new people and develop business relationships. 
  • Experience working in multinational companies with teams located in other countries is an advantage. 
  • A self-starter who can multitask while consistently producing high quality deliverables for a diverse set of concurrent initiatives. 
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or HND in any supply chain relate program, accounting or marketing  
  • 2+ years of professional experience in customer service in an FMCG company (including internships). 
  • Spotless business and personal background. 


  • Experience in the FMCG sector is highly desired. 
  • Experience building Enterprise Marketing and products highly desired.
