Job Description

• Location:  Accra
• Reports to: Supply chain Manager
• Function: Supply Chain function

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the efficient and effective management of the warehouse and Delivery operations in QPGH distribution centres, ensuring that deliveries are completed consistently, OTIFIC and that they meet quality standards.
• Assist in planning operations and activities within the warehouse/distribution centre with or depot managers in line with best practices and the company’s budget.
•  Assist in efficient and effective management of inventory, it's control, and accuracy while Monitoring stock levels and reorder levels to ensure optimum stocking and prevent expiries.
• Assist with ensuring Plan and Control stock counts, perform audits, investigates stock discrepancies and shortages
• Assis with ensuring Health safety and Environment global best practices within the warehouse and throughout the distribution
• Assist with ensuring proper stock rotation within the various depots where necessary to minimize overstocks and redundant or obsolete stocks
• Assist in generating and providing daily reports on inventory, such as quality of stock reports, stock position, and expiry reports across all inventory sites.
• Assist in ensuring proper documentation of daily stock movement so that inventory records are up to date and accurate on the ERP.
• Assist in leading and collaborating with diverse warehouse and fulfilment teams in remote locations across the country’s geographical clusters to achieve excellence in service delivery at minimum cost to serve.
• Assist in the effective management and coordination of distribution channels across the geographical regions.
• Assist to represent the company and build relationships with Customers and Government offices (when necessary) and regulatory bodies while collaborating with other internal functions in order to facilitate excellent customer service execution.
• Tracking and reporting of relevant KPIs to aid good business decision making by management.

Required Skills or Experience

Education and Training:

•  HND or a University degree in Purchasing and Supply or related field

Essential:

• Educated to university degree level, a master’s will be an advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years in blue-chip multinational FMCGs in both marketing and sales roles with involvement in broad commercial issues.
• Basic Supply Chain Management Knowledge.
