Job Description

  • Develop Marketing Communications plans and proposals for Clients and prospective Clients.
  • Coordinate and liaise with the Media in placement of adverts for clients.
  • Assist in the preparation of creative briefs and provide direction for the creation of visible, relevant and effective advertising campaigns for our clients.
  • Serve as a bridge between the company and all clients and between the specialist departments within the company.
  • Prepare and maintain Brand plans, Marketing Plans, Communications Proposal, Progress Reports, Contact Reports, Job Requisitions, Creative Briefs, Media Briefs and Budget Control documentation.
  • Scout and prospect for retained clients in every quarter.
  • Create advertising strategies and media plans from scratch, taking big picture ideas and identifying the digital platforms and tactics that will help meet goals.
  • Plan and administer meetings and presentations to clients and prospective clients.
  • Create detailed reports, compiling data from media platforms and Google Analytics, and translate that data into qualitative findings.
  • Generate revenue/profit in jobs out of businesses brought in and managed by you.
  • Handle client’s promotional activities (e.g. Roadshow, Market Activations etc).
  • Make client pitch presentations in every month with the aim of securing new business for the agency.
  • Meet and liaise with clients to discuss and identify their advertising requirements.
  • Work with agency colleagues to devise an advertising campaign that meets the client's brief and budget.
  • Effectively monitor the effectiveness of all client campaigns.
  • Undertake administrative tasks in the company.
  • Arrange and attend meetings to maintain client relationships.
  • Contribute to the generation of weekly and monthly activity reports and expenses.
  • Facilitate the successful onboarding of new clients.
  • Manage day to day client communications as the client’s primary point of contact.
  • Approve ad design and copy internally and process to the client as appropriate.
  • Coordinate and facilitate regular client meetings, bringing in internal specialists as appropriate.
  • Be the advocate for the client’s success and satisfaction internally. As you see needs for the client, work internally to ensure they are met and support the Creative and Ads teams accordingly.
  • Any other task that the Supervisor may assign.

Required Skills or Experience

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • 2-5 years’ experience in as a marketing manager, brand manager, account manager or marketing and communications professional.
  • Experience in an agency environment preferred.
  • Experienced in compiling, documenting and communicating client requirements to internal stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • The smallest detail is your favorite detail! - Self-driven with the ability to work independently.
  • Must be able to understand complex environments and projects, pay attention to details and maintain an organized workflow.
  • Excellent planning, project and time management, and decision-making skills with the ability to self-manage numerous projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Creativity and experience bringing new programs and ideas to fruition.
  • Digital marketing savvy.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment handling competing deadlines; agency and client-facing experience is a plus.
  • You will be required to travel outside Accra where necessary on your client’s activities.​
