Job Description

Responsibilities

Maintenance

Performing routine maintenance like oil changes and filter replacements, conducting inspections for issues, and liaising with technicians for major repairs.

Troubleshooting and Repairs

Diagnosing and resolving problems with generators, electrical circuits, and control systems, and replacing faulty components.

Safety and Compliance

Adhering to safety protocols, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and responding to emergencies.

Fuel Management:

Monitoring fuel levels, arranging refueling, and inspecting fuel systems for leaks.

Record Keeping

Maintaining accurate records of generator performance, maintenance activities, and incidents.

Emergency Response

Responding to power outages and system alarms, and conducting load testing during emergencies.

Documentation and Reporting

Generating report

Required Skills or Experience

Technical Skills: Knowledge of generator operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Safety Awareness: Understanding and adhering to safety regulations and protocols.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve issues with generators.
Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical activities like climbing, lifting, and handling materials.
Experience: Previous experience operating and maintaining power generation equipment is often required.
