Job Summary
The Marketing Manager for Rock City Hotel is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to promote the hotel's brand, attract guests, and drive revenue. This role involves overseeing all aspects of marketing, including advertising campaigns, digital marketing initiatives, branding efforts, and promotional activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to achieve business objectives, increase brand awareness, and drive revenue growth.
- Conduct market research to identify target markets, customer preferences, and industry trends.
- Analyze competitor strategies and market dynamics to identify opportunities for differentiation and competitive advantage.
- Digital Marketing:
- Oversee the hotel's digital marketing efforts, including website management, search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click (PPC) advertising, email marketing, and social media marketing.
- Develop engaging content for digital channels to attract and engage target audiences and drive website traffic.
- Monitor and analyze digital marketing performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and optimize strategies for maximum ROI.
- Advertising and Promotion:
- Plan and execute advertising campaigns across various channels, including print, online, and social media platforms.
- Coordinate with advertising agencies and media partners to develop creative assets and media plans.
- Develop promotional offers, packages, and special events to attract guests and drive bookings.
- Brand Management:
- Maintain brand consistency across all marketing materials, communications, and touchpoints.
- Develop and enforce brand guidelines to ensure alignment with the hotel's values, positioning, and identity.
- Continuously enhance brand perception and reputation through innovative marketing initiatives and strategic partnerships.
- Public Relations and Communications:
- Cultivate relationships with media outlets, influencers, and industry partners to generate positive publicity and media coverage.
- Draft press releases, media pitches, and other communications materials to promote the hotel's news, events, and initiatives.
- Monitor media coverage and manage crisis communications as needed to protect the hotel's reputation.
- Market Analysis and Reporting:
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and campaigns.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate marketing performance, insights, and recommendations to senior management.
- Use data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making and optimize marketing strategies for continuous improvement.
