    Report to: C & B Guest Experience Manager

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Interior Design Management:
      • Develop and implement interior design concepts that align with the hotel's brand identity, target market, and operational needs.
      • Oversee the selection of furniture, fixtures, finishes, and decor elements to enhance the aesthetic appeal and functionality of interior spaces.
      • Coordinate with architects, interior designers, and contractors to execute renovation and refurbishment projects on time and within budget.
      • Ensure that interior design elements comply with building codes, safety regulations, and accessibility standards.
    2. Standards Development and Enforcement:
      • Establish and maintain standards for cleanliness, decor, furnishings, and overall presentation of interior spaces throughout the hotel.
      • Develop and implement procedures and guidelines to ensure consistent adherence to quality standards by housekeeping, maintenance, and other relevant departments.
      • Conduct regular inspections and audits of interior spaces to assess compliance with established standards and identify areas for improvement.
      • Provide training and support to staff members to ensure understanding and implementation of quality standards.
    3. Renovation and Refurbishment Projects:
      • Identify opportunities for renovation, refurbishment, or enhancement of interior spaces to improve guest experience and maintain competitiveness in the market.
      • Prepare project proposals, budgets, and timelines for renovation projects in collaboration with the management team.
      • Manage the selection of contractors, vendors, and suppliers for renovation projects and oversee their performance and deliverables.
      • Monitor the progress of renovation projects, resolve any issues or delays, and ensure that work is completed to specifications and quality standards.
    4. Collaboration and Communication:
      • Collaborate with other departments, including housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage, and marketing, to ensure alignment of interior design and standards with overall hotel operations and brand positioning.
      • Communicate effectively with staff members, management, and external partners to convey expectations, provide guidance, and address concerns related to interior design and standards.
      • Foster a culture of excellence, attention to detail, and continuous improvement in interior design and standards across the organization.
    Skills Required

    Qualifications/Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Hospitality Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification is preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in interior design, architecture, or facility management, with a focus on hospitality or luxury properties.
    • Strong understanding of design principles, space planning, furniture selection, color theory, and materials and finishes.
    • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
    • Project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and vendor management.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
    • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all aspects of interior design and presentation.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and accessibility standards applicable to interior design in hospitality settings.
