    Report to: HR/Admin Manager

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Transportation Operations Management:
      • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel's transportation services, including shuttle buses, airport transfers, and car rentals.
      • Develop and implement transportation schedules, routes, and itineraries to meet the needs of guests, staff, and events.
      • Coordinate with front desk staff, concierge, and event planners to arrange transportation services for guests, groups, and VIPs.
      • Monitor vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
      • Implement quality control measures to ensure cleanliness, safety, and comfort of vehicles and adherence to service standards.
    2. Fleet Management and Maintenance:
      • Manage the hotel's fleet of vehicles, including buses, vans, cars, and limousines, to ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintenance standards.
      • Coordinate vehicle inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure safe and reliable operation.
      • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for vehicles to prolong their lifespan and minimize repair costs.
      • Monitor vehicle insurance, registration, and licensing requirements to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.
      • Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, repairs, inspections, and expenses.
    3. Staff Supervision and Training:
      • Recruit, train, and supervise a team of drivers and transportation staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills, knowledge, and resources to perform their duties effectively.
      • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to transportation staff to support their professional development and growth.
      • Foster a culture of safety, professionalism, and customer service excellence among transportation staff, emphasizing the importance of punctuality, courtesy, and reliability.
      • Conduct regular training sessions on defensive driving techniques, vehicle safety procedures, and customer service standards.
    4. Customer Service and Guest Satisfaction:
      • Ensure that transportation services are delivered in a timely, courteous, and professional manner, exceeding guest expectations and enhancing their overall experience.
      • Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints related to transportation services, demonstrating empathy and a commitment to resolving issues to the guest's satisfaction.
      • Monitor guest feedback and reviews on transportation services and take proactive measures to address any areas for improvement or guest concerns.
      • Collaborate with other departments, such as front office, concierge, and events, to anticipate and meet guest transportation needs and preferences.
    5. Budget and Financial Management:
      • Develop and manage the transportation budget, including forecasting expenses, tracking expenditures, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
      • Monitor transportation expenses, fuel costs, and maintenance costs to ensure budgetary compliance and maximize efficiency.
      • Evaluate the financial performance of transportation services, identifying opportunities for revenue generation and cost optimization.
      • Negotiate contracts, agreements, and rates with transportation service providers, vendors, and suppliers to ensure cost-effective and quality services.
    Skills Required

    Qualifications/Skills:

    • Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Transportation Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in transportation management, fleet operations, or hospitality management, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
    • Strong knowledge of transportation operations, including scheduling, routing, vehicle maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
    • Proven leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of transportation professionals to achieve performance goals and deliver exceptional service.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, colleagues, and external partners.
    • Proficiency in vehicle maintenance, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements applicable to transportation services.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs.
    • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
