SCHOOL OF AGRICULTURE
COLLEGE OF BASIC & APPLIED. SCIENCES
LEVENTIS FOUNDATION/ UNIVERSITY OF GHANA
INVITES PROSPECTIVE AND PRACTICING SMALL SCALE FARMERS TO APPLY FOR THE 2020 10-MONTH TRAINING PROGRAMME IN SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE.
The training is essentially experiential and hands-on designed to empower young and energetic Ghanaians to pursue farming as a business to enhance the growth of the food industry while protecting the environment.

- Livestock & Poultry Research Centre (LIPREC), Legon
- Soil & Irrigation Research Centre (SIREC), Kpong
- Forest & Horticultural Crops Research Centre (FOHCREC), Kade
Entry Requirements
- Minimum qualification ( BECE)
- Be able to speak, read and write English
- Age preferably 20 - 40 years
- Should have fanning background or proven interest in agriculture
- Should have a farm or access to farm land
- Be physically fit
- Be prepared to return to farming upon completion of the training
- Female applicants are encouraged to apply
