UMAA is seeking to employ qualified and experienced persons to fill the position of Bogger / Loader Operator.
This is Obuasi based Fixed Term Contract position with a competitive work roster at its operation in Obuasi. Remuneration package includes attractive salary and performance-based incentive payments for the right candidate.

Bogger / Loader Operator
The Bogger Operator is responsible for loading and hauling broken rock or ore from draw points and loading bays to stockpiles or trucks using Load-Haul-Dump (LHD) machines.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Operate underground loaders to muck and transport ore/waste to stockpiles, crushers, or trucks.
Conduct pre-start inspections and report equipment faults.
Maintain safe operating practices in narrow, confined conditions.
Follow mine schedules to ensure production targets are met.
Assist with minor equipment maintenance and cleaning.
Maintain communication with truck operators, jumbo operators, and supervisors.
Desired Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Minimum of a High School Certificate.
Certificate or coursework in Mining, Engineering, or related technical field.
Proven experience operating underground boggers.
Familiarity with mine haulage systems and ground stability hazards.
Good spatial awareness and equipment control.
Valid heavy machinery operating certification.
Previous exposure to mining, construction, heavy equipment operation, or related technical fields will be an advantage.
Willingness and ability to work in underground conditions on a roster basis.
Must possess a valid Ghanaian driving and operating licenses (C & E Classes) and can drive SUV underground.
