We are an International Catering Company operating in various activities in the Offshore catering industry and we are looking for a CAMP BOSS/QUALITY HEALTH & SAFETY in Takoradi.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Managing Director

• Oversee the daily operational, logistical, and human management of the camp (accommodation and catering services)

• Ensure strict compliance with the clients’ and company’s QHSE standards to guarantee safety, quality and comfort for all residents

Duties include but not limited to the following:

1. Supervise all camp services : accommodation, catering, housekeeping, laundry

2. Organize and coordinate the work of all teams and manage daily rosters

3. Ensure effective communication with the company and guarantee satisfaction with services provided

4. Maintain up to date operational documents (attendance, incident logs, client feedback)

5. Actively participate in coordination meetings with other departments on site

6. Executes monthly self-assessments on the elements of food safety.

7. Executes the required food safety related testing as defined in HACCP plan and maintains the revisions of the HACCP plan and ensures food safety at all times.

8. Leads all QA and food/product safety related activities/initiatives.

9. Implements quality systems and measures its effectiveness by verifying activities, controls and preventative measures.

10. Responsible for maintain and managing the corrective action system and facilitating corrective action activities with management.

11. Assures the accuracy and compliance of HACCP records as defined in the corporate procedures.

12. Drives implementation of the business management system

13. Responsible to lead product defect investigations, Alleged food poisoning, hard-foreign-and soft-foreign object investigations.

14. Responsible for the identifying and maintaining of key performance metrics for the Quality organization

15. To ensure that all the safety and security rules are follow up

16. To ensure the respect of security rules and knifes security instructions is in place and follow up

17. To ensure the size of staff for the activity and adapt in case of update

18. To organize calculation and communication of the estimation needs of products each month to supply chain

19. To ensure that the monthly inventory is done correctly for the stock available in production

Minimum Qualifications

• The Camp Boss should have at least a Diploma in the hospitality or catering management with over five(5) years’ experience in camp/hotel management.

• Auditing experience

• Proven teamwork experience in a fast-paced environment.

• Proven experience in development and implementation of quality standards and managing food quality processes.

• Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in French is an added advantage.
