Qualification

• Basic education certificate or relevant training in catering/food handling

• 1+ years experience cooking for schools or large groups is an advantage

• Health screening certificate will be an advantage

What You Will Do

• Prepare and cook nutritious meals for pupils and staff daily

• Follow menu plans and maintain food hygiene and safety standards

• Ensure proper storage, handling and serving of food

• Keep kitchen, utensils and dining area clean at all times

• Assist with ordering and stocking of kitchen supplies

• Serve meals on time and maintain portion control

Skills Needed

• Good cooking skills with knowledge of local dishes

• Strong hygiene, cleanliness and time management

• Ability to work in a team and follow instructions

• Honest, reliable and able to work early hours
