About the Role

Esoko is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst to transform complex data into clear insights that support strategic and operational decision-making.

This role offers an opportunity to work with diverse datasets, identify trends, develop meaningful reports and dashboards, and provide evidence-based recommendations that contribute to business growth and improved performance.

The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to collect, analyse, interpret, and present data in a way that supports informed decision-making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, validate, and analyse data from multiple internal and external sources.

• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualisations to communicate key business insights.

• Identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities within datasets.

• Translate business questions into analytical requirements and actionable insights.

• Monitor key performance indicators and provide regular performance reports.

• Support management and business teams with data-driven recommendations.

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, quality, and integrity across reporting systems.

• Conduct statistical analysis and develop models to support forecasting and business planning.

• Collaborate with Product, Technology, Operations, Finance, Commercial, and Project teams on data-related requirements.

• Automate recurring reports and improve data collection and reporting processes.

• Prepare clear presentations and reports for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Maintain appropriate documentation for datasets, reports, dashboards, and analytical processes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, Economics, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

• A professional certification in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related discipline is an advantage.

• Minimum of three years’ relevant experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Research, or a similar role.

• Demonstrated experience analysing complex datasets and presenting actionable insights.

• Experience developing dashboards and management reports.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL.

• Practical experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, or similar platforms.

• Practical knowledge of AI and Generative AI tools for data analysis, automation, insight generation, and reporting is an advantage.

• Experience with Python, R, or other analytical programming tools is an advantage.

• Familiarity with database systems, data management, and statistical analysis is desirable.
