Job Summary

The Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of electronic products, staff, and documents. The role supports delivery operations, stock movement, and ensures proper handling of goods while maintaining vehicle safety and compliance with road regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Delivery & Logistics Support

• Deliver electronic products to customers safely and on time

• Assist in loading and unloading goods, ensuring careful handling of fragile items

• Verify delivery details (items, quantities, and locations) before dispatch

• Obtain proof of delivery (signatures/confirmation) from customers

• Support inter-branch or warehouse stock transfers

2. Vehicle Management & Maintenance

• Ensure the assigned vehicle is clean and in good working condition at all times

• Conduct daily vehicle checks (fuel, oil, brakes, tires, lights, etc.)

• Report any faults or maintenance needs promptly

• Schedule regular servicing and maintenance

3. Compliance & Safety

• Adhere to all road safety regulations and traffic laws

• Ensure safe driving practices at all times

• Maintain valid driver’s license and required documentation

• Avoid damage, loss, or theft of goods during transit

4. Documentation & Record Keeping

• Maintain accurate delivery logs

• Ensure all delivery notes, invoices, and waybills are properly handled

• Record fuel usage and mileage where required

5. Customer Service

• Interact professionally with customers during deliveries

• Handle customer inquiries politely and escalate issues when necessary

• Ensure a positive customer experience during delivery

6. Support to Store & Operations

• Assist with errands such as bank runs, document delivery, and supplier pickups

• Support inventory team during stock movement when required

• Assist in basic warehouse/store duties when not on delivery

Key Requirements

Education & Experience

• Minimum of SHS certificate

• Valid driver’s license (Class B, C, or relevant category)

• At least 2–3 years driving experience (preferably in delivery/logistics)

Skills & Competencies

• Good knowledge of road networks (especially within Accra and surrounding areas)

• Safe driving skills and road awareness

• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Reliability and punctuality

• Physical fitness for loading/unloading goods

Working Conditions

• Field-based role involving frequent travel

• May require weekend or extended working hours
