About the Role
Nestas International School invites applications from compassionate, energetic, and dedicated individuals to fill the position of Early Years Class Assistant (Nursery 1) for the 2026/2027 Academic Year.
Core Responsibilities
Assists the Nursery 1 Class Teacher in planning and implementing daily classroom activities.
Supports pupils during learning, play, feeding, rest periods, and outdoor activities.
Helps prepare teaching and learning materials and organise classroom resources.
Assists in maintaining a clean, safe, attractive, and child-friendly classroom environment.
Supervises pupils and ensures their safety and well-being at all times.
Encourages the development of pupils' language, social, emotional, cognitive, and motor skills through guided activities.
Assists young children with personal hygiene and self-care routines when necessary.
Observes pupils' behaviour and reports any concerns to the Class Teacher.
Promotes positive behaviour, good manners, and healthy habits among pupils.
Upholds the school's policies on child protection, safeguarding, health, and safety.
Performs any other duties assigned by the Headmaster or the Class Teacher.
Qualifications
A minimum of Senior High School (SHS) Certificate, Certificate II, or a Certificate/Diploma in Early Childhood Education, Education, Child Care, or a related field.
Previous experience working in a nursery, preschool, daycare, or kindergarten setting will be an added advantage.

Added Advantage
Preference will be given to applicants who:
Have previous experience working with children aged 2–4 years.
Have basic ICT skills.
Have training in child safeguarding, first aid, or inclusive education
