About the Role
Nestas International School invites applications from enthusiastic, caring, and dedicated individuals to fill the position of Early Years Class Assistant (Kindergarten 2) for the 2026/2027 Academic Year.
Core Responsibilities
Plans and delivers engaging, age-appropriate lessons based on the Ghana Education Service (NaCCA) Curriculum and the school's international standards.
Fosters pupils' cognitive, language, social, emotional, moral, and physical development.
Creates a safe, stimulating, inclusive, and child-friendly classroom environment.
Assesses pupils' learning and maintains accurate academic and developmental records.
Prepares teaching and learning materials that promote active participation.
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other members of staff.
Communicates effectively with parents regarding pupils' progress and welfare.
Participates in school meetings, professional development programmes, and extracurricular activities.
Upholds the values, vision, policies, and safeguarding standards of Nestas International School.
Qualifications
A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Basic Education (Early Years), or a closely related field from a recognised institution.
A valid teacher registration or licence where applicable.
At least one (1) year of teaching experience in an Early Years setting. Candidates with more experience will have an added advantage.

Have strong spoken and written English communication skills.
Be creative, patient, caring, and highly organised.
Be able to prepare effective lesson notes and teaching resources.

Exhibit high standards of professionalism, integrity, punctuality, and reliability.
Added Advantage
Preference will be given to applicants who:
Have experience teaching under the NaCCA Curriculum and/or Cambridge International Curriculum.
Hold additional professional certifications in Early Childhood Education.
Have training in child safeguarding, first aid, or inclusive education.
