UMAA is seeking to employ qualified and experienced persons to fill the position of Easer L Operator.
This is Obuasi based Fixed Term Contract position with a competitive work roster at its operation in Obuasi. Remuneration package includes attractive salary and performance-based incentive payments for the right candidate.

Easer L Operator
An Easer L Operator is a specialized underground mining equipment operator responsible for operating the Epiroc Easer L, a mobile raise boring machine used to drill slot raises, box holes, service raises, and opening holes in underground mines.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Operate the Easer L raise boring rig safely and efficiently.
Set up and align the machine according to mine plans and survey markings.
Drill vertical and angled slot holes, box holes, and service raises.
Conduct pre-start inspections and complete equipment checklists.
Monitor drilling parameters and machine performance.
Handle drill rods, reamers, and drilling tools using onboard lifting systems.
Report ground conditions, equipment defects, and safety hazards.
Perform routine maintenance and lubrication of the rig.
Comply with all underground mining safety procedures and standards.
Desired Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Experience in underground drilling or raise boring operations.
Minimum of a High School Certificate.
A minimum of 2 years underground mining experience
Relevant Ghanaian driving License class C & E.
Ability to read mine plans and survey instructions.
Knowledge of drilling systems, hydraulics, and mechanical equipment.
Strong commitment to safety and risk management.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
