• Department: Technical Reports Directly To: Electrical Supervisor

• Location: Onsite at HPW Fresh and Dry Ltd, Adeiso, E/R. Job Purpose Install and maintain electrical installations on structures and equipment.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Maintain all electrical installations and equipment in the facilities.

• Develop and implement strict PM programs for the maintenance of electrical installations

• Regularly review maintenance plans to suit the age of the assets

• Develop and implement strong defect identification procedures for facilities and equipment through weekly inspections.

• Develop and implement defect-reporting procedures

• Monitor machines in the production areas to identify defects

• Monitor equipment and carry out maintenance works where required

• Perform maintenance works as prescribed in the Work order (WO)

• Assemble, install, test, and commission new equipment within the facility

• Troubleshoot and fix complex malfunctions on installations within the facility

• Reading and interpreting circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.

• Propose management strategies regarding the choice of asset at the design and procurement stages

• Electrical inventory management

• Adherence to food and health safety protocols

• Submit weekly reports on electrical installations and equipment failures and corrective actions

• Inspect and supervise external contractors

Qualification

• Background in electrical engineering: HND/Degree

• Minimum of 2-3 years experience
