Our school is looking to hire an experienced and dedicated English Teacher to join our team.

The ideal candidate must have a strong command of the English language and proven experience teaching English at the basic or junior high school level, particularly preparing pupils for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in English, Education or a related field

• Proven experience teaching English at the basic or junior high school level and preparing pupils for the BECE

• Excellent spoken and written English

• Strong lesson-planning, assessment and classroom-management skills

• Ability to identify learning gaps and support pupils at different ability levels

• Familiarity with the GES curriculum and BECE examination requirements, experience in other curriculums is an added advantage.

• A collaborative attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team
