We are seeking a professionally trained and highly experienced Cook to join our catering operation.

The ideal candidate must have strong experience preparing meals in bulk quantities and catering for large groups or events. They should be confident in preparing a variety of high-quality Ghanaian and continental dishes while maintaining excellent standards of taste, consistency, hygiene and presentation.

Requirements

• Professional training or certification in catering, cookery or a related field

• At least five years of relevant cooking or catering experience

• Proven experience preparing meals in bulk or catering for events and large groups

• Strong knowledge of Ghanaian and continental dishes

• Excellent food hygiene and kitchen-safety practices

• Ability to plan meals, manage portions and minimize food waste

• Good spoken and written English

• Strong record-keeping and stock-management skills

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet strict preparation and delivery timelines

• Reliable, organized, disciplined and attentive to detail

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing meals in large quantities, maintaining consistent food quality, supporting menu planning, monitoring stock and food usage, keeping accurate kitchen records, and ensuring the kitchen remains clean, safe and well organised.
