We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Finance Manager to drive strategic decision-making, and ensure the company’s financial health and compliance.

Responsibilities

• The performance of financial management duties which include generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, analyzing industry trends and assessing the financial health of the company.

• Overseeing the operations and development of the company’s finance departments including creating and reviewing policies, budgeting, recruiting, training and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures.

• Ensure the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual account reconciliations and reporting.

• Develop budgets based on forecast and analyze to ensure that the company’s expenditure is within budget.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong technical accounting knowledge

• Excel and modelling

• Creating statutory accounts

• Ability to delegate and manage the work of others

• Experience with QuickBooks and other accounting software

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)

• Experience running annual audit

Requirements

• First Degree in Accounting

• Experience with QuickBooks

• 5 years proven accounting and people management experience (preferably in the transportation Industry)

• Knowledge of Accounting procedures and principles.

• Computer literate

• Age: 37 years and above

• Must be married
