Job brief
We are looking for a reliable, attentive, and customer-focused Front Desk Executive to manage our overnight front desk operations, assist late-arriving guests, and maintain the safety and tranquility of our property.
The ultimate goal for this role is to deliver smooth night operations and ensure our guests receive fantastic BOHO customer service at all hours. You will handle night check-ins/check-outs, manage guest inquiries through our Property Management System (ASSD), and prepare the front office for seamless morning handovers.
Main Job Duties and Responsibilities
Welcome late-arriving guests, manage smooth night check-ins/early check-outs, and process payment transactions accurately.
Effectively communicate with guests during overnight hours to resolve requests, provide assistance, and ensure a comfortable stay.
Manage front desk communications, answering late-night phone calls, emails, and online messaging in a professional and timely manner.
Perform basic night audit tasks, daily batch closures, and data entry updates accurately within ASSD (property management system).
Maintain safety, security, and quiet hours across the property, liaising with security personnel whenever necessary.
Liaise with morning staff and all departments by providing clear handover notes on guest requests, maintenance issues, or room status updates.
Obtain an in-depth knowledge and understanding of our business operations, room types, pricing, and local Accra recommendations to assist guests arriving at all hours.
Requirements
Strong customer service skills with a warm, welcoming demeanor.
Excellent and professional English communication skills (both verbal and written).
Demonstrated ability and willingness to work consistent night shifts, including weekends and statutory holidays.
Intermediate computer profi ciency and comfortable learning/using property management systems (e.g., ASSD).
Great attention to detail and a high level of reliability to work independently during night hours.
Ability to empathize with guests from diverse cultural backgrounds and handle late-night situations calmly according to company standards.
Knowledge of additional international languages (such as French, Spanish, German, Czech, etc.) is a strong plus.
