UMA is seeking to employ qualified and experienced persons to fill the following position: Grader Operator

Grader Operator Position

The GRADER OPERATOR is responsible for safely and efficiently operating underground grader equipment to maintain roads, working areas and mine infrastructure to required standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate grader to construct, maintain and rehabilitate underground roads and working areas.

• Maintain road profiles, drainage, grades and safe travelling conditions.

• Conduct pre-start inspections and report equipment defects.

• Perform routine operator maintenance and housekeeping.

• Work safely around underground mobile equipment and personnel.

• Achieve planned work targets in accordance with Mine standards.

• Operate grader underground at development ends area (incline or decline).

Desired Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Previous exposure to mining, construction, heavy equipment operation, or related technical fields will be an advantage.

• Minimum High School Certificate or equivalent.

• Minimum 3 years' underground grader operating experience.

• Valid Ghanaian Driving/Operating Licence and relevant equipment certification.

• Good knowledge of underground road construction and maintenance.

• Strong safety awareness and ability to work on a roster basis.
