Springforth Community School is a Christian, nonprofit educational institution committed to providing high-quality education while nurturing academic excellence, character, leadership, and Christian values. The school offers education from Crèche through Junior High School and follows both the Cambridge and Ghana Education Service (GES) curricula.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced, visionary, and dynamic educational leader to serve as our next Head of School. The successful candidate will provide strategic, academic, operational, and spiritual leadership for the entire school while driving student achievement, enrollment growth, staff development, and organizational sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

The Head of School will:

• Provide overall leadership and management of the school.

• Ensure excellence in teaching, learning, and student achievement.

• Lead implementation of the Cambridge and GES curricula.

• Develop and implement the school's strategic plans and annual goals.

• Supervise and support academic and administrative staff.

• Foster a strong Christian culture and positive school environment.

• Build strong relationships with students, parents, staff, donors, and community stakeholders.

• Lead initiatives to increase student enrollment and retention.

• Oversee school operations, budgets, financial sustainability, and resource stewardship.

• Support fundraising, partnership development, and scholarship initiatives.

• Report regularly to the School Board and School Management Committee.

Qualifications and Experience

• Master's Degree in Education, Educational Leadership, School Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive educational leadership experience.

• At least 5 years of senior leadership experience in a school setting.

• Experience with Cambridge and/or international curricula is highly desirable.

• Demonstrated success in improving academic outcomes, managing teams, and leading organizational growth.

• Strong communication, strategic planning, and people management skills.

• Commitment to Christian education and values.
