Description

To lead and strategically manage the Human Resource (HR) function to attract, develop, and retain top talent, foster a high-performance culture, and ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies. The Head of People and Culture will oversee the implementation of HR strategies that support the organization’s mission, values, and growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

·         Develop and implement people strategies, policies, and programs aligned with business objectives

·         Lead end-to-end talent management including recruitment, onboarding, performance, and succession planning

·         Drive learning and development initiatives to build capacity and leadership

·         Foster positive inclusive and high-performance culture across the organization

·         Ensure compliance with employment laws, policies, and industry best practices

·         Manage employee relations and resolve issues with fairness and professionalism

·         Oversee compensation, benefits and reward strategies to attract and retain talent

·         Support leadership development and coaching for managers and team leads.

·         Provide regular HR reports and insights to management and the board on key metrics (e.g., turnover, engagement, training).

·         Use HR data to inform strategic decisions and identify areas for improvement

Qualifications & Experience

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, or related field

·         A Master’s degree or MBA with HR focus is an advantage

·         Professional certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM, IHRMP) is required

·         Minimum of 7–10 years’ HR experience, with at least 3 years in a senior HR leadership role

·         Experience in a regulated sector, financial services, or service-oriented organization is a plus.

Work Environment

·         Office-based with occasional travel to branches, training centers, or external engagements
