About the Role

An Integrated Facility Management Company in Kumasi is seeking to recruit an experienced Health and Safety Officer to protect workers and visitors by ensuring the workplace follows legal safety rules and health standards.

Key Duties

• Checking sites for hazards.

• Running safety training

• Looking into accidents

• Writing Safety reports

Main Duties and Tasks Risk Checks

• Look at work areas, tools, and tasks to find hidden dangers.

Rule Making:

• Write and update clear safety guidelines for the company.

Site Audits:

Walk through the workplace to make sure staff use proper safety gear (PPE).

Accident Review:

• Find out why accidents happen and stop them from happening again.

Staff Training:

• Teach workers how to handle emergencies, use equipment safely, and follow health rules.

Record Keeping:

• Track injury logs, safety checks, and government compliance documents.

Key Skills Needed

• Good Talker: Explain safety rules clearly to all workers problem

• Solver: Fix safety issues before they cause harm.

• Rule Knowledge: Know local and national labor health laws well.

• Keen Eye: Notice small, dangerous safety mistakes on site.

Requirement

• Diploma/degree in Health and safety or related fields

• Relevant work experience is an advantage.
