Qualification

• Diploma or Certificate in Early Childhood Education / Basic Education

• Experience with young children is an advantage

What You Will Do

• Teach KG 1 & KG 2 pupils using play, songs, stories and activities.

• Follow the NaCCA KG syllabus – Literacy, Numeracy, Creative Arts, OWOP.

• Help children develop good habits, social skills and confidence.

• Keep the classroom neat, safe and engaging.

• Mark work, keep pupil records and give reports to parents.

Skills Needed

• Love and patience for young children.

• Good communication with pupils and parents.

• Creative, caring and good classroom control.

• Can use teaching aids, pictures, toys and basic technology.
