ActionAid Ghana (AAG), an Affiliate of ActionAid is looking to employ an experienced and self- motivated individual to fill the position of Project Officer

Role Overview
The role exists to strengthen the capacity, participation, and collective voice of rural mining-affected communities, particularly women, youth, and other marginalized groups, to actively engage in decision-making processes on extractive sector governance amid the growing pressures of climate change and increased critical minerals exploration

Job Circumstances

  • Position: Project Officer

  • Salary: This role is on SM2 of ActionAid Ghana’s Salary Structure

  • Duration: 2 years

  • Location: Accra with frequent visits to project communities

Academic Qualification & Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Natural Resources Management, Environmental Studies, and Mining. A postgraduate qualification in a relevant area will be considered an added advantage.

  • At least 3 years’ experience
