JOB PURPOSE
The Sales Representative is responsible for generating new business, identifying potential customers, presenting the company's products and solutions, maintaining customer relationships, and achieving assigned sales targets.
The role requires a proactive, confident, customer-focused individual who can identify opportunities and convert leads into successful sales.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Lead Generation
Identify and develop new sales leads through calls, referrals, networking, social media, walk-ins, and other business development activities.
Contact potential customers and introduce Keyless Entrance Group's products and services.
Maintain an updated record of prospects and leads.
B. Lead Qualification
Understand customers' needs, requirements, budget, and timelines.
Determine whether a lead is a genuine business opportunity.
Schedule appointments, consultations, and site visits where necessary.
C. Product & Solution Presentation
Present the company's products and solutions professionally to customers.
Explain product features, benefits, pricing, and applicable warranty terms.
Recommend suitable solutions based on customer requirements.
Work closely with the Technical Team when technical clarification is required.
D. Sales & Negotiation
Prepare and submit quotations and proposals to customers.
Follow up on quotations and outstanding opportunities.
Negotiate with customers within approved company guidelines.
Obtain the required approval for discounts or special pricing.
Convert qualified leads into confirmed sales.
E. Closing Sales
Prepare and share sales contracts or agreements with customers.
Follow up to ensure contracts are signed.
Coordinate with Finance to confirm customer payments.
Ensure the agreed initial payment is received before project execution, unless otherwise approved by Management.
Properly hand over confirmed projects to the Technical Team.
F. Customer Relationship Management
Maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Follow up with customers after sales.
Identify opportunities for repeat business and referrals.
Respond professionally to customer enquiries and concerns.
Escalate complaints or technical issues to the appropriate department.
G. Sales Reporting
Submit regular sales and activity reports.
Maintain accurate records of leads, quotations, follow-ups, and closed deals.
Provide updates on pending opportunities and expected sales.
Track performance against assigned sales targets.
