A critical player in the safety and security of people and assets on the premises of Lashibi Funeral Homes, this includes, staff, vendors and valued clients and guests to our facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Knowledgeable of all security policies, procedure and set standards for LFHL.

• Monitor and control the movement of all employees leaving and entering LFHL

• Engage with clients as they enter the facility; parking vehicles, providing direction and any other assistance required.

• Question any suspicious character in a polite manner; Refuse entry if the subject is not able to provide reasonable reply; Request for assistance immediately if the situation arises.

• Conducting regular patrols on the sites around the institution

• Ensure that all potential and real hazards are identified, reported and rectified immediately

• Assist in the investigation of any accidents and security incidents involving LFHL clients and employees.

• Provide basic response for fire/security alarms

• Complete necessary reports by recording observations, information, occurrences.

• Report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name tag at all times.

• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Minimum of SHS qualification

• At least 1-3 years similar experience

• Any additional certification in a security related area from a recognized institution will be an added advantage.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Possess the necessary tact, respect and empathy

• Good interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).

• Vigilant, alert and always aware of one’s surroundings

• Physically fit and within a healthy weight range.

• Integrity and the ability to act responsibly and ethically.
