Role Overview

We are seeking a creative and technically proficient Videographer to join our Marketing Department at our Tema headquarters. The ideal candidate must possess a strong aesthetic sense and must be capable of independently managing the entire video production lifecycle—from shooting and editing to publishing content across various platforms. This role will be pivotal in enhancing our brand presence, particularly through social media, and will involve learning and contributing to our TikTok live streaming initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Shoot and Edit: Independently plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for marketing campaigns, product showcases, corporate communications, and social media .

• End-to-End Delivery: Manage the complete production process, including pre-production (storyboarding, scripting), filming (camera operation, lighting, audio), and post-production (editing, color correction, sound design, and visual effects) .

• Creative Storytelling: Craft compelling narratives that align with the company's brand identity, audience engagement strategies, and marketing objectives.

• Visual Branding: Ensure all visual content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent, professional look and feel.

• Platform Optimization: Create and edit video content tailored for various platforms, including the company website, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.

• Content Calendar: Collaborate with the marketing team to maintain a content calendar, ensuring a steady stream of engaging video material that supports promotional activities and events.

• Learn and Execute: Acquire and apply knowledge of TikTok's live streaming features. This includes understanding the technical requirements for going live from a PC using RTMP and OBS, or from mobile devices.

• Live Session Support: Assist in setting up and managing TikTok live streams for product launches, events, and interactive sessions with the audience to boost engagement and brand visibility.

Key Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or Higher Diploma in Film, Media, Broadcasting, Video Production, or a related field is preferred.

• Minimum of 3-6 years of relevant working experience in video production and editing.

• Proficiency in Editing Software: Expert-level knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve is required.

• Camera Operation: Experience with professional cameras (e.g., Canon, Sony), lenses, and accessories.

• Audio & Lighting: Strong understanding of professional audio recording equipment (e.g., Sennheiser, RODE) and lighting techniques.

• Motion Graphics: Knowledge of motion graphics software such as Adobe After Effects is a strong advantage.

• Social Media Savvy: In-depth understanding of video specifications and best practices for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube) .

Other Requirements

• Must be willing to work on-site in Tema and occasionally outside of regular office hours for shoots and events.
