Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain Diamond or RC drilling rigs and associated equipment.

• Deliver drilling operations to client specifications, ensuring productivity and quality targets are achieved.

• Conduct daily pre-start inspections, routine servicing, and preventative maintenance.

• Accurately complete drilling reports, shift records, and safety documentation.

• Identify and report equipment faults, hazards, and operational issues.

• Ensure compliance with company procedures, client requirements, and all health, safety, and environmental standards.

• Lead and mentor offsiders and promote a strong safety culture.

• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient worksite.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating Diamond and/or RC drilling rigs.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

• Sound knowledge of drilling techniques, equipment, and safety procedures.

• Ability to work in remote locations on rostered shifts.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Valid driver's licence (HR licence advantageous).

• Current first aid certification and relevant industry tickets are desirable.
